Canada minister blasts ‘dangerous’ leftist-Islamist anti-Semitism

A “new anti-Semitism” that emanates from an alliance of Western leftists and Islamic extremists is more dangerous than the “old European” form of Jew-hatred, Canada’s minister of citizenship, immigration and multiculturalism said as he wound up a four-day trip to Israel Sunday.

“Israel is not perfect, obviously,” Kenney said. “Israelis should be the first to admit that. But we acknowledge that so much of the criticism Israel faces is motivated by a dangerous form of anti-Semitism that tries to hide behind anti-Zionism and is represented by a coalition of the far left in the West with extreme currents of jihadi Islam that seek the destruction of the Jewish nation. They seem to believe that the Jewish people are the only people in the world that don’t have a right to a homeland.”

Not far left, just the left. I can't get my head around it, this hatred for the Jews by the left. There is no logic to it. Throughout history the Jewish people have been hunted down and killed, blamed for everything from the black plague to the killing of the christian god. I first thought it was a taught hatred, as it is in the Middle East, but in the left here in Canada, I am starting to think it is innate.

Yes, it's hard for me to figure out. Funny thing is if the Islamists succeed in eliminating the Jews, who do these lefty supporters think they'll go gunning for next? I do believe there are moderate Muslims — eg. Tarek Fatah and Salim Mansur. However, most moderate Muslims are not as brave as those two to speak out. If the die-hard Islamists get their way, the next ones they'll target will be certain members of the left, namely gays and feminists. It always annoys me that the feminazzis are so silent on the mistreatment of women within Islam.
