This article is all about Canadian PR man James Hoggan who runs DeSmogBlog, a site dedicated to smearing those who oppose the junk science of the AGW industry. Hoggan, whose blog was bought and paid for by John Lefebvre — a director of the David Suzuki Foundation and a convicted criminal, maintains that deniers are in the pocket of Big Oil.
Hoggan’s client list, meanwhile, reads like a who’s-who of alternative energy, as Canada’s Financial Post noted:
“There has been no mention on the blog, nor on The Fifth Estate, of James Hoggan’s client list. They include or have included the National Hydrogen Association, Fuel Cells Canada, hydrogen producer QuestAir, Naikun Wind Energy and Ballard Fuel Cells. Mr. Hoggan, in other words, benefits from regulatory policy based on climate change science.”
Expressed another way, PR hack Jim Hoggan’s DeSmogBlog is a godsend for Hoggan’s paying PR clients, spinning everything that could help them get a financial edge in the new carbon emissions markets.
The next time one of these climate alarmists screams about doom and gloom unless we adopt a global compulsory carbon trading scheme, follow the trail of money leading from the hypocrites to Big Green. The next time a warmist points an accusing finger at a detractor and shouts “Denier!”, check to see who really stands to gain financially.

Look, let’s be honest and up front about who these control freaks are driving the climate doom agenda. Their science is suspect or debunked, their methods are sociopathic and Machiavellian and their mentality is Malthusian. They aren’t climate scientists, they aren’t reasoned thinkers, they aren’t academics of note and they seek not our approval but our unquestioning obedience and unthinking compliance.
In ideology, theology and bearing they are the antithesis of democracy, liberty, reason and moral objectivity. In their social Darwinist Malthusian rhetoric I get glimpses of their contempt for free humanity and hatred of free thought. Suzuki has referred to us ( normal people below the God-class of green fascists) as ‘maggots’ others view humanity as a ‘cancer’ or ‘virus’ or ‘worthless eaters’. This is the perverse misanthropy of the climate crisis fanatic and the core anti-human mindset of the radical green movement.
Scratch a climate change alarmist and you find a fascist misanthrope.
So, what’s new. Everyone involved in the green crusade is either a hypocrite, a liar, or a scam artist. It’s all well and good for Mr. Gore and Mr. Suzuki to make fortunes from this charade; they can use the money to pay the offsets for their huge carbon footprints. To hell with the average person who isn’t getting rich by selling carbon trading shares or from personal speaking engagements. They will only pay for this nonsense, not get rich from it.
