Scumbags vandalize the Fredericton cenotaph, and the Fredericton Peace Coalition refers to this despicable destruction of a memorial honouring our veterans as “insignificant.”
This LOSER organization also supports George “I love Hezbollah and Hamas” Galloway, and they tried to bully Fredericton businesses into stopping their display of yellow ribbons in support of our troops.
Here’s their email: info@frederictonpeace.org, in case you’d like to let them know what you think of them.

Its sad and disturbing to understand that this war memorial vandalism is a politically motivated desecration. This was not done by stoned up teens defying authority or social qualms – this is deliberate political contempt for national institutions and western values by the viral degeneracy of the nihilist leftism which has infects so many of our rudderless gullible young people.
It is also a reminder to us that although we may have vanquished militant fascism in the great sacrifice of WWII, its soul-mate marxist-nihilism lives on the fringes of our society, like a malignant tumor, and is attempting in every conceivable way to subvert our culture, by deconstructing our institutions – the CAF is one of these institutional icons and war memorials are symbolic of its value to our society. Its a natural target for malignant nihilism.
The Orwellian-named peace groups are mostly fronts for nihilist deconstructionism and should be under constant CSIS surveillance – probably not beyond one of their perverted little crew to deface a monument to his moral betters – some day they may decide to move on to bigger things like helping their Hamas pals attack targets.
Our society should treat this kind of contemptuous left-wing nihalism, which flirts with treason, the way we would any organized criminal cartel.
You summed it up nicely, Bill. These groups always have such lovely names. Like the “Human Rights” Commissions/Tribunals…Levant always says these groups usurp all the best names — who could be against something that sounds so noble? (Snort)
Pretty cowardly act to destroy a monument to veterans.
Thanks posting the Fredericton story.
As well as being an annual parade tomorrow, it is also coincidently my birthday. The two events have merged over the years in terms of loss, career and personal reflection.
I can honestly say that I went through the motions when I first joined until I actually knew someone who died in the CF. After that, the longer you serve, the deeper the emotions get, and for many, the harder you become and the thicker your skin gets to leftist idiocy.
I personally know CF pers in Gagetown. There was a story some months back about police brutality on a CF member because of mistaken identity. Last I heard, he might not heal in time to make his deployment. I’m sure the cops are reaching the end of their ropes. The stories from those who live on and off a base are of an ever increasing youth inspired miscreant antics, often leading to B&E and vandalism.

This event is one in a string of events that demonstrate a bigger problem brewing in the once sleepy Fredericton; the one I experienced for three days in March 1993 and ’93. I was just there this past June, and I couldn’t believe how much it had changed.
As the PC MC influence of avoiding being offensive at the expense of disciplining our children continued to prevail in Canada, we will see more of these misplaced acts by vandals and activists who believe in the “self-entitlement” mindset and that attacking the very institutions which have allowed their freedom to vent through peaceful means is not enough. Hey, that’s sound just like the fascist activities of certain unions, and also one particular ideology comes to mind.
Cops are breaking up fights with clubs and kids are running rampant causing destruction. Nice place Fredericton. Hope you sort yourself soon. And don’t go blaming the Base for your problems, ‘cause if they ever closed that down and moved everyone to the other bases in Canada, you know your economy would tank.
Not to worry though. The CF will never close Gagetown.
But a week after the false assault, turns out there’s another war going on between the Federicton cops and the CF:

And finally, the ever-by-the-book-I’m-not-going-to-tase-you-RCMP release that the report is ready, but doesn’t release it:

Did Pte. Luc Begin deploy in October? Someone knows, but not me.
But after all this, will the Fredericton Police really have their hearts into investigating this vandalistic affront of the Cenotaph for our veterans, or are they also being lumped into the “army” war faction mentality having surfaced this last summer in the Province’s Capital?
Well, first of all, happy birthday to you, Kaffir.
Wow, sounds like Fredericton has a lot of problems. And the cops seem to be part of it. Though, from the sounds of it, they have a lot to deal with. But that doesn’t excuse their treatment of those in the CF.
