Actually, it was just a short little jaunt from where I live to the Wayside Tavern in Talbotville for lunch, then across the street to Picard’s Peanuts. It was nice to have a break from reading those never-ending emails.

Hubby and I had a very nice time: I needed the break away from the computer, and he needed the break away from insulating the basement.
From the peanut store, we continued on to Port Stanley, and on the way home we stopped at Canadale Nursery in St. Thomas, where I picked up a couple of winter pine groupings for my two pots out front.
