I’m not trying to be cute with that question. I’m serious. Now that the Climategate whistleblower has exposed the outright manipulation of data and the fundamental deceit amongst the AGW crowd, can we put an end to stupid restrictions and bans? Can we now reverse decisions that were made on the basis of nothing more than junk science and fraud?
How many decisions on environmental policy worldwide have been made based on the claims of these so-called climate experts and their supporters in the media and in politics?
So, I ask again: Can we have our old lightbulbs back now? First of all, the CFLs don’t work worth a damn. They’re useless during the colder months for outside lights and in garages: They take too long to warm up to the point where the light they emit is enough to see adequately. The quality of light they produce is immensely inferior to incandescent bulbs. Then there’s the danger factor: Break one of the idiot curly bulbs in your home, and you’ll require a costly Hazmat cleanup. Break one of the old bulbs, and you could just sweep it up and toss it.
Another question: Can we hold the AGW scammers financially accountable for the costs that their fraud has imposed on us? When you follow the money trail of AGW funding and carbon trading schemes, it’s apparent that the same people who shouted “deniers” and “flat earthers” have made huge financial gains off this scam. And they stand to make a lot more yet if they’re not stopped now.
Just look at the UK, for example, and what their Climate Change Act — passed one year ago — is costing that nation:
On the Government’s own figures, the Climate Change Act is going to cost Britain £18 billion a year – that’s £720 for every household in the country – every year from now until 2050.

And this is all based on junk science, manipulation, and outright deception.
Which brings me to another point: Will governments also stop promoting the very expensive and inefficient windmills as a viable alternative to fossil fuels? Now that the whole basis for their AGW fraud has been exposed as nonsense — CO2 is NOT a pollutant — can we stop, maybe even reverse, these horribly wrong political decisions that were made based on made-up data and scare tactics?
Fifty or one hundred years from now, I wonder what people will think looking back on the madness that had infected our society:
No one has put this better than Professor Lindzen, one of the world’s leading climatologists, when he wrote: ‘Future generations will wonder in bemused amazement that the early 21st-century’s developed world went into hysterical panic over a globally average temperature increase of a few tenths of a degree, and on the basis of gross exaggerations of highly uncertain computer projections contemplated a roll-back of the industrial age.’
Even with the light being shone on this dark and dirty scam, there’s still a number of people clinging to the junk science of man-made climate change. I guess it’s difficult to admit being taken in by the alarmists, especially when you truly believed in the cause they were promoting.

Our biggest problem is that we are being lead into all this by our politicians. You know. Those guys that if they were any good for anything else at all they wouldn`t be politicians.
PS to the above. I am sure glad all this is happening. All those warmists that used to preach to me about how wrong I was to oppose their view are going to have to eat a pile of crow. Now all I have to wait for is the PC portion of our country to smarten up about the Islamic or Muslim problem and ship them out and I will have`er built.
I think politicians have been tricked into believing this is what the voters want — well, there are maybe some like Obama who see it as a way to more power, global control and domination.
I’m glad too — though I think it may take a while for some of the deeply brainwashed to snap out of it. And I’m not very optimistic about the jihadist problem — I think we’ll see a lot more dhimmification of this country before the left ever gets a clue.

Science has become a refuge for every political hack, social engineering control freak and huckster since the rise of science as a trusted institution with public credibility in the mid19th century. In the early days they called these manipulative hucksters masquerading as scientists ‘quacks’ but the new breed of scientific hucksterism is far more malicious and predatory. It seeks to use the credibility of scientific process/reason to validate an array of self serving political-economic-ideological population control agendas – most of which have no practical value to human freedom, security or lifestyle other than to empower and enrich the clique pandering these pretentious self serving elitist concepts through fear mongering and pseudo-science credibility.
The climate fear mongers recruited from the scientific community are just the propaganda wing of a global clique of finance oligarchs and fascistic bureaucrats who wish to use this fraudulent climate doom to (through treaties) institute an unelected global resource(energy/housing/food/water/land/labor) rationing and taxing cartel. Along with this fascist international statism rides the transnational malthusian social engineering junta. Both factions muse (in their institutional papers) of creating a global scientific dictatorship (totalitarian technocracy) not unlike Aldus Huxley predicted in “brave New World”.

Thanks for the links, Bill. You always provide some interesting reading. It’s infuriating that Mead’s nonsense is still being presented as science, when she’s been completely discredited.
It makes me wonder how the current scam — which she helped start — is going to conclude. They’ll just accept the quackery as science?
What we have to ask ourselves is, are we going to let those people get away with this? If our governments do not do their job, what do we, as responsible citizens, do?
Just because global warming is a fraud doesn’t mean energy conservation efforts should be abandoned.
And where did I say conservation efforts should be abandoned?
Conservation “efforts” should NOT be forced on us through green industry monopolies lobbying governments to impose bans, restrictions, and carbon taxes on the general populace. Especially now that AGW has been exposed as a scam. That’s what I’m talking about.
Conservation should be encouraged and promoted NOT legislated. This can be done through incentives — not forcing economic hardship on most people while a handful of elite greenies clean up financially. And the “CO2 is harmful” nonsense needs to stop immediately. CO2 is not a pollutant now, never was, and never will be; and it does not drive temperature.
What’s will be truly difficult to admit is that a cabal of government agencies, NGOs, scientists and corporations willfully and gleefully propped up the whole Climate Change(TM) scam in order to fleece money from the populace. If this story cannot be suppressed, it will be interesting to see which heads will roll, and into what new policy crevices the green carpetbaggers will scurry towards.
At the very least, these quack climate scientists should all lose their funding and their jobs. But if there’s any real justice, they’d be held financially culpable and go to jail. If Madoff deserves prison (and he does), then the global scam these creeps perpetrated has to call for it.
