You’re right — I didn’t even think of that. Gosh, I remember our milkman would have ice cream treats in the summer, and we’d drive our poor mother nuts begging for some.
On a related note, I like to tell my young nieces about the “old” days when we used typewriters and watched black & white TV. They have trouble imaging a world of play without video games. I tell them we had a little thing called “outside”.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

That was great. To bad most younger folks won`t know what us older folk are chuckling about.

Believe it or not when I was a kid the bread and milk man were still using a horse and wagon. No ice cream treats then they would have melted.
Thanks for the much-needed smile!
Any time!
