From the moment that the Warmergate/Climategate/Climaquiddick story broke more than two weeks ago, I was obsessed. My first reaction was disgust and rage: How dare they call themselves scientists — these data-rapists. Now that more than two weeks have gone by, I’ve reached the stage of kind of an amused fascination. What I’m finding comical is the following: (a) the MSM totally ignoring this huge scandal and just now reporting it as an add-on to yet another climate apocalypse story, and (b) the IPCC’s total invention of a new “scandal” to distract from the fact that they’ve hoodwinked us for years. And that is where the Russians come in.
Look, I’m as anti-Communist as they come, but this is just getting silly. Apparently the IPCC has concluded that the climate “deniers” are all a bunch of ultra right-wing Commie hunting dogs who can be easily thrown off the stench coming from the AGW scam by tossing a Red scare into the mix.
And so we have this — Climategate: the Russian distraction by James Delingpole.
Jean-Pascal van Ypersele, vice-chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), is blaming Climategate on a fiendish Russian plot. Well he would, wouldn’t he?
And why would van Ypersele’s chief suspects the Russian secret service want to do such things? To stop honest, decent, never-hide-evidence-or-fiddle-with-raw-data scientists getting on with their job, that’s why.
And what does a member of the propaganda wing behind this latest trendy cause have to say?
The controversy over emails by British researchers that suggest they tried to suppress inconvenient data has muddied the waters but failed to dent the mass of evidence on which these predictions are based.
Okay, that put me in stitches — it really did. The complicit stooges in the lamestream media have been tripping over themselves for years reporting climate Armageddon. And yet another useful idiot of the Great Global Warming Swindle simply mentions the REAL news as an aside to promoting yet more propaganda for their “noble cause.”
But Delingpole reminds us to ignore the real deniers and to stay focused on the actual issue:
So let’s not allow ourselves to be distracted and keep our eyes on the main prize: our right as free, sentient citizens not to have $45 trillion worth of economy-destroying taxes and regulations imposed on us by big government…

I certainly hope your right; however, I look back at Harper’s policies since 2006 and see a PM who has constantly sold his philosophical soul in order to retain his job. Face it, us old Reform members were suck in by this disingenuous politician who was only interested in his own job promotion. He currently will do what ever it takes, plunge however far to the left it takes to retain his job.
The Conservative Party needs a leadership convention or we will end up similar to the old Progressive Conservative Party that unfortunately was far more progressive than small-c conservative. We are back where we started from Moose….Let’s do somthing about it….all genuine small-s fiscal and social conservatives should not vote in the next election…..give the Liberal six months….we can elect a genuine small-c conservative leader and then win the next election and correct all of their stupity!
Interesting isn’t it? The scandal outs about the scientific premise for these global measures being pure fabrication, yet the polis, big money and transnationalists forge on like it was the gospel. Dismissing hard evidence as insignificant to ‘climate change legislating’.

British climate expert Anthony Cary reports that “climate science is in its infancy….only fools or rogues pretend to be sure of what is going on……Our climate models are barely predictive.” Therefore reasonable people would think that the first step must include research and informed discussions rather than relying on erroneous computer models which are based on left-bias assumptions and manipulated data by some rogue “scientists”. Step two would mandate the private sector including the investment community, possibly with tax incentives, to research, develop, produce and implement technology necessary, such as carbon capture and sequestration, to resolve any climate problems that might be scientifically and legitimately confirmed to be acute
It is becoming transparent that the so-called “climate change” panic is nothing more than a hoax by far-left wealth redistributing advocates. Unfortunately Canada does not have a small-c fiscal conservative PM, nor are small-c conservatives represented in the Conservative Party or the Canadian Parliament, so Harper will likely fully partake in the dismantling of the Canadian economy.
I think you’ve got Harper wrong — he won’t dismantle our economy.
