The Man Who Would Be Queen, and respected climate guru (cough), issues his current doomsday prediction:
The world has only seven years before climate change causes a “point of crisis” that will drive food shortages, terrorism and poverty, the Prince of Wales has warned.
Okay, let me try to figure this out…seven years equals 84 months. Hmmm…But Chuckles said back in mid-July of this year that we had exactly 96 months to save the planet. Okay, a little simple subtraction…Five months have passed, so we should have 91 months left — or 7 years and 7 months. I don’t mean to nitpick, but if you’re going to issues such exact timelines, let’s get the math right. And stop trying to cheat us out of 7 months.
Now, this conflicts with the other great climate guru — the all-knowing Goracle — who stated quite confidently, back in January 2006, that we have only 10 years before we’re toast — literally. That would mean we have just slightly more than 6 years left, not the 7 years that Queenie-in-Waiting is now predicting.
Of course, the Goracle’s been kinda stuck, like a broken record, on that 10-year prediction for several years: In 2008, he’d already started that 10-year point-of-no-return countdown. But, unknown to Big Al, the UN had already started an earlier 10-year countdown back in 1989.
Okay, these predictions are getting a little tricky to keep track of, but I think you’ll find an excellent rundown of doomsday divinations here: 10 Global Warming Doomsday Predictions. At first hint things may not fit the narrow political template they have been programmed in, they take to the streets in angry Bolshevik mob tradition.

Each of these people live the very decadent lifestyle they say must be abandoned by the populace to ‘save’ humankind. none prepared to lead by example – to live the austaire regulated existance they recommend for the soiled masses. It’s been a boon for our rational perspective be viewing the Copenhagen COP 15 AGW confab from a distance . Distance has detached us from the fraudulent hoopla, theatrics and emotional evangelism presented for the benefit of the true believers at the conference.
What is it we really see when we watch the elite of global warming culture shuttling from caviar and champagne luncheons to posh meet and greets in their hooker-filled limos, in the midst of a snow storm and unprecidented cold snap.
When we look at Copenhagen with detached objectivity and a wider perspective what we are witnesses to is akin to a “synod” of a new religion. Like a 5th century synod of the Greek-Roman church, this new church of Gaia-climate doom-junk science worship, is codifying its doctrines, dogma and observances, selecting and canonising its priesthood and determining an inquisition for heresy.
Its chilling to see the lemming like adulation of the AGW ‘faithful” in light of what we see of this phenomena in objective perspective. That being: This is a self-abasing dogma accepted purely on faith, as objective, hard science does not support the core premise. That core theory being : man has caused doomsday warming and that CO2 (a life gas/plant food) is a deadly toxin to the environment we must be taxed on to exhale. They maintain this dogma in the face of the fact the earth has been much warmer when there were no cars or people, CO2 FOLLOWS a warming spell not creates it and we (earth&solar system) are in a current cooling trend due to the lack of sun spot activity.
In denial of all hard counter evidence we further see a cultish devotion to the dogmas of Malthusian anti-humanism – austere fascist control systems and wealth depletion for the faithful and decadent rapacious materialism for the AGW-sustainability priesthood – worship of depopulation eugenics and austere rationing economics in the guise of sustainability. This global climatocracy is a death cult where the priesthood has mesmerised the faithful into accepting their own existence as being a disease to mother earth – live a short, deprived, childless life then euthanize yourself for Gaia’s sake so the priests of Gaia can have their green utopia. We’re being herded by decadent elites into a belief system that can only result in a massive global Jonestown – it’s there if you have the perspective to see it.
Something else that amuses me about the whole COP15 thingy are the protesters. I can’t figure out why they’re protesting the conference when they’re all on the same side. I mean, for different reasons, but they’re still all (the conference people and the protesters) essentially touting the same nonsense: Climate change must be stopped.
climate change is called weather. we will have food shortages if we allow government to do stupid things like funnel water from agricultural areas to the ocean to save smelt, a very specific smelt. when smelt are more important than people it is time to tar and feather those who take such actions.
Yes, it will be their stupid inane meddling that will lead to actual starvation.
