Warmer temperatures = people thrive, animals thrive, plants thrive. Cold kills more people than heat does, and I’m not just referring to people who freeze to death. Cold and flu viruses are more prevalent in colder months, and heart attack deaths from shovelling snow are common. What if your furnace fails, or your area is hit with an ice storm?
Instead of shovelling all this money at a non-issue (carbon emission reduction), which only serves to make the carbon traders wealthier by the second, why not stop the foolish spending and reduce energy costs so that people can properly heat their homes.
Naturally that won’t satisfy the Climate Commies, who are also big believers in population control. And that’s probably why they don’t want a warmer planet — fewer deaths. Better if a lot of us freeze to death in the dark. They can take our bodies and make a giant funeral pyre — a burnt offering to Gaia.

You are absolutely right to use the term Climate Commies! The really sad fact is that is not the green elites who die of the cold but the poor who they claim to represent. I’ll bet my furnace that of the 80 who died, not one of them had ever given a penny to the green movement or even heard of it. Cheers.
