Read: Climategate: the corruption of Wikipedia

Get that? The guy who has been writing Wikipedia’s entry on Climategate (plus 5,000 others relating to “Climate Change”) is the bosom buddy of the Climategate scientists.

Although Connolley has supposedly been removed as an administrator, it hasn’t slowed down his contributions to the Church of Settled Science’s online bible.

Wikipedia was immediately seized upon as a vehicle for validating leftwing mythology and propaganda almost from its inception. Every item/entry where the left has political currency is grossly skewed to leftist revisionism. They use it to pimp their heroes and causes and to denigrate their ideological enemies.

The few times I have ever used Wikipedia have been to check historic facts and of those, the majority were either incomplete or incorrect.

If you use this as a reference source you will know little more than someone living behind the iron curtain in the cold war. Wikipedia uses the same content editorial control as the soviets did on Pravda.

On occasion I use it as a direction to more reliable sites — but even then it’s a bit questionable.

On the few times I may have linked to it from here was for information I already knew to be correct and was just too lazy to source elsewhere. I’m going to be more careful in doing that in future.
