Please, please force an election as soon as parliament is back, so that we can send your sorry ass back to the country you truly love. Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff has done something strange by making two former NDP premiers – Dosanjh and Bob Rae – his point men on this issue. Although Canada’s involvement in the Afghan war was a Liberal initiative dating back eight years, it has always been a sore point for the party’s left wing. The party was able to control its anti-war, anti-military and anti-U.S. instincts for the four years the Liberals managed the war. But since then, their anti-war faction has been ascendant.
From a partisan point of view, it’s risky. Ignatieff knows from experience how hurtful accusations of war crimes can be. In 2006, he accused Israel of crimes in its war against Hezbollah and it led to the resignation of his Toronto leadership campaign co-chair. If accusing foreign allies of war crimes is a political faux pas, surely making the same accusation against our own troops is far worse.

Other Liberals have gone even further. On CTV, Liberal spin doctor Warren Kinsella compared what Canadians are doing in Afghanistan to what Americans did in Abu Ghraib, the Iraqi jail where prisoners were tortured by rogue U.S. troops. Despite the interviewer’s statement that there was no comparison with Abu Ghraib, Kinsella repeatedly insisted “we don’t know that.” Not even Richard Colvin, the diplomat at the centre of the storm, has alleged that Canadian Forces committed any torture.

Honey Pot. Love your comment. I can not imagine what goes through the minds of the men and women of our forces in A`Stan when they hear the comments made by the Libs, NDP, Greens and those traitors that are allowed to try and separate our country from Quebec as part of our own government. The Liberals that were in power for so long in Ottawa have dug us into a hole so deep I do not think my old bones will be around long enough to see Canada crawl back up out of the hole. But I am trying to and making as much noise about it as I can!
All the liberals have did is cut their own throat. I know a whack of used to be, hard core liberals. Used to be one myself. People are leaving the liberal party because the liberals stand for everything that is not Canadian. The liberals would gladly trade our identity and take on the shape of anything for power.
The first image that pops in your mind when you hear the words liberal party, are terrorist and traitors. They can’t wash that off, the liberals stink of power at any price.
The greens and the ndp are looked upon as the nut-job party’s. They take turns at coming up with stupid things to say and do. No one pays much attention to them. They are there for entertainment purposes only.
Talking about stupid lefty nutjobs, did you see that piece by Maude Barlow saying she was ashamed to be Canadian today. It makes me feel wonderful that horrid scags like Barlow and Mallick are ashamed to be Canadian. I am so proud of my country when they can make useless femi-nazi’s cry. It proves these old bitches and their ideology is dead, considered a joke by the rest of Canada.
Which one of the old ho’s will be turning in her Canadian citizenship to move to one of those islamic countries who are known for their revered treatment of hairy-lipped old feminazi’s.
