This is why I call London, Ontario a socialist shithole:
Coun. Paul Van Meerbergen was blunt in his criticism, calling the Eagle-Winninger motion a waste of time and wondering why specific examples of misbehaviour weren’t cited.
“There are those who maybe don’t like the opinions some share. Well, get used to it. That’s democracy,” Van Meerbergen said. “(This) attacks the very notion of free speech.”

It was noted there’s no way to get politicians to comply with the code other than their individual goodwill.Some possibilities cited by city solicitor Jim Barber include a reprimand or suspension of pay if the code is breached. Coun. Roger Caranci, though, questioned how it could be fairly determined if a breach occurred.
Taxpayers will be on the hook for the unnecessary and totally made-up position of “integrity commissioner,” plus expect to fork over more cash when the lawsuits start flying over “suspension of pay.”

Maybe they should focus on making the downtown a place to go rather than the wasteland its become, instead of spending time on bullshit like this.

Excellent! And often the totally inept invent problems to solve to try to look busy and competent.
Chris, Whiner and Eagle are flying the coop. They think nothing of wasting more tax payer money before they do just that.
It is important that you get behind a candidate i the next municipal with smarts and who does not lean left.
We need people on council who have enough sense to put economic growth as the top priority. As soon as you hear a candidate sobbing over the fucking flowers and polar bears, do whatever you can to make sure they don’t win.
Too many sensitivity programs and political correctness, call them out for what they truly are “Idiots!”
