‘Muslims are the new Jews’

As expected, Gerard Latulippe’s appointment to Rights and Democracy has brought all kinds of predictable responses. The NDP and the Liberals don’t like it because he’s offended Muslims in the past:

In 2007, when Quebec was in the throes of debate over the reasonable accommodation of religious minorities, Mr. Latulippe submitted a 37-page brief to a provincial government commission studying the issue. Mr. Latulippe warned that Quebec’s open immigration practices were leading to the creation of Muslim ghettoes in Montreal, which could easily become breeding grounds for terrorism.

He has been a Quebec provincial Liberal, converted to a Pequist to maintain his Provincial Diplomatic Post in Brussels. This columnist, branded “rubber man of Quebec politics”, ran for the Canadian Alliance in Quebec City and finished third. And as a lawyer, he’s managed to stay employed directing the Haiti program of the US based democracy promoting non-profit organization National Democratic Institute. He also has human rights experience working in Jordan, Libya, Iraq, Jordan and a host of African nations.

The criticisms being hurled at the new appointee have engaged the steam driven difference spin machines of the Left. At Religious Right Alert, the warning is, “…Stephen Harper’s new appointees to the Board have a clear ideological mission: to exempt Israel from human rights scrutiny”. Left leaning MSMs, just search the next accusation, and you’ll know which ones I mean, insist on reporting an “enduring witch hunt” of the current employees, as decried by their Public Service Alliance of Canada Union rep.

And, as anticipated, our own Canadian version of bigot-baiting has begun. I give you Dr. Dawg who forms an argument that all this is part of a conspiracy because of Harper’s evangelical need for a Christian world government by proclaiming he’s part of a cabal called: “…Dominionists, who want the state to govern according to the Law of God.”

I won’t dispute the PM’s obvious religious convictions, or many other policies of his I disagree with, but he’s definitely a conservative cold glass of milk in a church basement dinner rather than a smoke filled Bingo hall. In spite of Dawg’s latest leftist attempt at baiting, there is an inordinate amount of effort going into avoiding the elephant in the room.

But Dr. Dawg lets the cat out of the bag:

“All of these elements and alliances have been brought to the fore by the civil war raging in ICHRDD. The Conservative government, a forgetful Minister of Foreign Affairs, B’nai Brith and various enthusiastic pro-Israel Christians are ranged against those who take universal human rights seriously (almost the entire staff of Rights and Democracy, for starters)–those, in other words, who think that even Palestinians have rights worthy of protection.”

That’s right; he just stated that the entire staff of R&D is pro-Palestinian. Whether they are or not is for the new boss to decide, and I don’t envy his job, but that’s what he gets paid the big bucks for. And “universal human rights”, puh-lease. After how the UN Human Rights movement has been hijacked by the misogynistic OIC, can anyone in the West really take what Palestinians believe to be “human rights” seriously?

That entire statement, if true, would explain the Leftist anxiety. Here we have a Canadian taxpayer funded organization more interested in the rights of Palestinians, who have no democracy, teach their children to hate Jews and Kuffars, and would rather send their children, and their children’s children in a never ending war to rid the Middle East of the Jewish presence, which I don’t need to add is the only bastion of democracy in that part of the world holding back the Ummah and all it represents. But somehow, this escapes the ability of the Leftist mind’s ability to achieve any real common sense. I guess, “Real” is trumped by “universal” when it comes to common sense.

Instead of just defunding, as has happened with KAIROS and immigrant training under CAF, this Conservative Government is attempting to salvage the vision of “Rights” and “Democracy” that was hijacked by an ideology which has proved, time after time, that it doesn’t have an issue with funding democracy-fighting Palestinians who, by their very actions and their own religious ideology, do not share such a concept anywhere near compatible with Canadian values. And if the Left believes we can change their minds by throwing Canadian tax dollars at it, where’s the proof, indeed, where has been their proof of effort? Kassam rockets you say?

It seems, just as in our useless HRCs, when the tiring leftist ploy of “find the victim, and throw money at it” churns from their Weltanschauung, to keep the funding der Völk automate, and it is struck down in the court of public opinion by the slightest modicum of common sense, the bigot baiting weapon gets unleashed: “profiling”. This time I get to exploit code from the left, which obviously is being exploited as just another word for “bigot”. And just as it has been embraced by the PC MC hegemony, which still believes it has popular appeal, to “profile” is a bad thing, and Evil thing, because we must all be considered of the same bland cloth, each equal in entitlement, regardless of what an identifiable percentage of my identifiable group are involved in. Such madness actually had the NCC saying that building a monument to the victims of Communism in Ottawa might offend Communists.

What bigotry do they speak of? Why, the bigotry which must exist for the Left to make its argument, because without a victim, how can there be a platform for the Left to accuse the Right? It has always been one of the most annoying qualities of Iffy to pedantically accuse the existing government and create a victim in his rants/speeches/statements to qualify his attack. Hey, Iffy, why not just identify a problem, provide a better solution, and ask why the government won’t consider more competency. But that isn’t the Liberal way. That isn’t the way of the Left.

Yes, let’s just condemn and accuse, and conveniently avoid framing the issue with all the facts to further the leftist agenda. And of course, the MSMs, mostly populated by the Trudeau generational PC Multi-Culturalist, willingly frame the message just they way it needs to be, without all the facts, and to ensure there is always a pariah.

The pariah has always been intolerance. But as soon as the left embraced the systemic intolerance by Islam as “cultural”, so began the fall. The Left can’t seem to recognize the idiocy of protecting ideologies which are intolerant, because to criticize them is intolerant. It is a circular insanity of wondering why everybody looks at you funny because your fly is down, even after it’s repeatedly pointed out. This is why the philosophy embraced by the left will eventually only exist with any real influence in the minds who wish to turn Canada into a Hugo Chavez playground.

Don’t believe me, I leave you with Dr. Dawg’s unbelievable statement: “Muslims are the new Jews in Quebec…”

Addendum: As I wrote this, I was amazed to see James Clark on CTS’s Michael Coren Show tonight squirm his way out of why he didn’t attend Zafar Bagnash’s bash, who he deeply admires, and accuse Joseph Brean of incorrectly reporting the York Regional Islamic Conference “Media War on Islam”, even though he didn’t attend himself. Also, one Islamic rep on the show, at the first opportunity, pulled out that tired old, muzzle loaded leftist weapon of war, “Muslims are victims”, again.
