Read: Beat the Arizona immigration law; be white for a day
The new immigration law in Arizona, which encourages the racial profiling and harassment of illegal immigrants and American citizens who happen to be of the Hispanic persuasion, can be beaten.
He proposes (tongue-in-cheek) that the way you beat Arizona’s crackdown on illegal immigrants is to get yourself a whitey mask. Because everyone knows white people get all the breaks. Hopefully, nobody will be dumb enough to actually take his advice for Deprofiler’s “solution” and walk into a bank or jewelery story wearing such a disguise.
Setting aside this white mask silliness, I want to deal with the outright lie he tells in the quote above, which states that Arizona’s immigration law “encourages the racial profiling and harassment of illegal immigrants and American citizens who happen to be of the Hispanic persuasion.”
Now, he’s either being intentionally deceptive, or he’s even dumber than he appears. Actually, Ann Coulter, a constitutional attorney, says it better here when asked if Obama and Pelosi are telling the same lie:
Ann explains above why law-abiding residents have nothing to worry about. Arizona’s law is quite clear and reasonable. And I say kudos to Arizona and its governor for making the effort to deal with an issue that the feds refuse to touch.
This legal U.S. immigrant and naturalized citizen living in Arizona sums it up nicely:

Sassylassie notes in the comments that Baglow is all for racial profiling when it’s labeled as “affirmative action.”

I agree with her, affirmative action is racial profiling to benifit someone based on race I also considered it a supremacists’ policy. Why is it okay when minority groups benifit financially etc. from racial profiling but it’s racism if society is protected when our police agencies use racial profiling to protect all of society from criminals or terrorists based on historical data that states certain groups are prone to criminal activity and terrorism?
Exactly. If racial profiling is wrong, then it’s always wrong. But lefties like Dawg are never very consistent.
The scatterbrained Dawg is all about wild-eyed hyperbole and flaccid poetry..the poor bugger.
Yes, I guess we should show sympathy for him.
Well there is a solution to this problem. Since the Mexican’s love Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and part of Texas so much how about they just buy those states from the US? How many Trillion dollars would that cost? I don’t think all the dope in Mexico is that much money.
I think they love what those states, as part of the U.S., offer to its residents. If Mexico owned them, it’s same old living conditions. But maybe selling them would help the U.S. tackle its huge debt problem. Better not give Chairman Zero any ideas.
The only racist here is dawg and his like. By feeling sorry for the ethnic minorities or whatever in hell they like to call themselves when they are lining up for another government handout, you believe they are preconditioned to be losers. Dawg believes they are too stupid to fit into mainstream society, and therefore need to be kept, as unruly pets.
Pity will forever make them less. Fighting for ethnic minorities rights to be criminals, and giving them special treatment under the laws of the land, is something you do for people you consider incapable of thought or consequence.
Not a drug cartel in Mexico who isn’t laughing their ass off as the left dummies in Arizona and the rest of the USA fight for their right to kill, main and sell drugs.
Yep, the ones shouting “racist” the loudest are usually trying to deflect.
This post is excellent and talks about the problem with the racist label. Here’s an excerpt:
It seems that the price for not being labeled a racist is merely our silence. Should we find anything at all wrong with the shooting of an Arizona deputy sheriff or the murder of rancher Bob Krentz we will have to wear the label. If we just look the other way as Mexican criminals including members of the Barrio Azteca gang and others flow across our borders we can avoid the dreaded racist label.
Dawg’s optics are no more evolved than that of a vulgar anti-intellectual, hate America street Marxist, the southern US border issue is much broader in politics and motive than most believe.
The way I see it, borders don’t “leak” 3 million illegals a year unless someone with a lot of political juice wants it that way. As for who or why, just follow the profits trail. Qui bono? The 1st and largest sector to profit from illegal aliens are the large employers of unskilled labour, who, with this major influx of cheap dependent labour force, have managed to keep the wages for menial unskilled jobs at a rate so low no American would take them, thus creating a market demand for more illegal immigration.
I don’t think the solution lies in a wholesale round up and deportation because, let’s be pragmatic, without this near slave labour powering what’s left of America’s unskilled manufacturing, infrastructure and agricultural industries, and the US economy so close to implosion, cheap labour is a competitive advantage needed to compete with China and far east producers.
I think the first focus should be on a total all out war against illegals engaged in:
A) the drug trade or other criminal trades
B) reconquista politics. This should be instant deportation for illegals and a sedition charge for Americans who aid and abet such politics.
Start there and arrest, deport or shoot whatever is needed. Next make hiring illegals a fiscal and legal liability – then enforce this rigidly and incrementally. If there is no work for illegals they won’t stay here long.
But all this is moot unless there is political will at the executive level to undertake the re-establishment of US sovereignty over border authority. As it stands now, too many politically connected interests profit from illegal immigrant labour and they pull the strings of the belt line puppets.
