Good news: Toronto grocer, who assisted police by catching career criminal, found NOT GUILTY!

David Chen, owner of the Lucky Moose Food Mart, has been found not guilty:

A Toronto grocer charged with assault and forcible confinement after catching a shoplifter has been acquitted of all charges. [...]

A judge found all three men not guilty today, saying it was a continuing theft and they were justified, under the law, in making the arrest.

This should have never gone to trial.

What should be investigated is why a judge gave criminal scumbag Anthony Bennett a reduced sentence if he’d help crucify an honest, hard-working shopkeeper — one of the many victims of his many crimes.

When is the Government going to support the bill introduced by Oliva Chow which would protect people such as Mr.Chen from abuse by ‘the system’. More importantly why is the Government not introducing its own legislation on this matter ? Is PMSH too busy doing nothing much of anything useful to actually do something useful ?
And no I am not NDP or Liberal. Used to consider myself as ‘Conservative’ but PMSH has disabused me of that affectation. I will vote conservative again when Bernier becomes leader and not a day before.

Mr. Chen has already had his punishment, being run through the wringer and washer for -daring- to lay hands on a protected species, the Toronto Shoplifter/Drug Addict.

Message received loud and clear, Mr. Crown Attorney sir. Cops are not your friends, we got it.

Cops and courts are not your friends at all. Really helpful of them to bribe a criminal with a reduced sentence if he’d testify against the victim of his crime. It’s shameful what Chen has been put through.
