Christie Blatchford was silenced by the real intolerant bigots of the far left:
The goal of this action was to silence Blatchford, and make it clear to her and her supporters that the people of Kitchener-Waterloo will not tolerate bigoted, ignorant analyses of our allies, and we will not stand by and watch undisturbed as Blatchford and people who share her views attempt to poison the minds of people across Turtle Island. [...] We are proud to have stopped this racist apologist from further disseminating her lies, and we firmly pledge to be present at the rescheduling of this event in order to continue our Campaign Against Christie.
Could they be more proud of themselves?

The brownshirts strike again. Or the blackshirts (Italian fascists).
Universities are today nothing more than censorship zones. The closed minds coming out of those institutions are remarkable. Maybe all such talks should be held elsewhere; when these proud fascists show up to shut things down, you have your own security remove them.
When you do not allow others to speak, taking away their rights, you have effectively canceled your own right to speak. All it takes is a few goons. I guess Christy must scare these little fascists in training. All they need now is a uniform and a symbol.
I see the library there has Mein Kampf in stock.

Isn’t it just perfect that Blatchford’s book is about a group of thugs that seize control in the face of authorities that are impotent and unwilling to act, only to be subject to the same behaviour?
Advocates of free speech should start carrying zap-straps & duct tape. Hog tie ‘em, gag ‘em, and proceed. What drives me nuts is that were I there, and used my sizeable frame to seize back control of the stage, I’d be charged with assault. They, on the other hand, would only be engaging in their right to free speech by denying mine. One of these days individuals will collectively decide that formal charges are a less damning result than being silenced.
At first I thought the book to expensive. After reading of these green tags i went out and bought the book.
