Just makin’ it up as they go…
With the planet being the coldest it has been for a decade it is comforting to know that the decrease in solar activity will not stop the run away global warming caused by obscene levels of atmospheric CO2 that the Earth is experiencing.
Well that’s the story from the UK Met Office famed for its useless weather forecasting, has conjoined with Reading University to produce a new fear scenario all based on a single computer model’s predictions.
Read more for what meteorologist Piers Corbyn has to say about single computer model prediction.
The only thing smoldering are their red hot lies.

I don’t think that anyone argues that a cooling of the sun will have no effect, but it is not correct to argue that a cooling sun will have an effect but then insist that nothing else does. When you take solar, volcanoes and el Nino effects into account, the trend is still steady and strong.

Two polls I glanced at this week that show that the truth about AGW is sinking in with the general population. In Britain a national poll conducted by a large publisher showed that 70% believe AGW is a con used by politicians and shyster business to rob the public. Then, a recent Rasmussen political poll conducted in the US surprisingly showed that climate change ranked 89th (89/100) as a political issue the public want addressed by their politicians where it was #11 in 2008.
The truth of the matter is climate warming is : A) a natural occurance which man has little effect upon B) stopped in 1998 C) when it does occur electric cars won’t stop it D) The science the UN used to politicize this into a crisis issue used tainted data and hysterical conclusions E) Climate theory is far from “settled”.
These irrefutable facts are causing the alarmists to rebrand their crisis de jour “climate change”. Al Gore’s burning atmosphere sci-fi movie didn’t work/occur and warmistas now concede these trends are cyclic. I’ve read several different definitions of “climate change” they all vary in accuracy and presupposition but essentially the core theory now with alarmists is we are changing weather patterns. Well I think we’ve been doing that for some time but we aren;t very good at it. We have attempted to change weather since we invented air craft and cloud seeding and “terra forming” – too bad we can’t control hurricanes and tornados
Bill: OK, I call you on that one. Can you please back up your assertion that global warming stopped in 1998?
In regards to the UK, I don’t know what poll you are referring to, but the AngusReid survey from September gave the combined result of the skpetical point of view (includes people who fell into the category “Global warming is a fact and is mostly caused by natural changes” and “Global warming is a theory that has not yet been proven”) of 47%.
