The porn queens* at the Mother Corp are shocked, shocked I tell you! The real story is in the comments:

I don’t get it.

Am I supposed to be offended that some soliders who fought/fight in Afghanistan (tasked with producing a “funny” video for a dinner) mocked Osama Bin Laden and his family?

I couldn’t care less.

and here:

that’s hilarious. so it would be OK for the comedians to tackle the subject, but not someone who risks their life on behalf of this country? hypocrites, one and all !!!

and more here:

Sorry, but don’t see the problem. In fact, it sounds like the video’s pretty funny – if anything, it should be passed along to the writers at This Hour Has 22 Minutes to remind them how it’s supposed to be done.

Those are just a few of the highest-rated comments…

UPDATE:

Ah, the hypocrisy — it burns…

The difference between the 22 Minutes skit and the one the soldiers did: The military’s sense of humor is a huge improvement over the crap produced by the CBC.

The only thing wrong with the military comedy sketch is they didn’t blow him up real good, a la SCTV celebrity farm blowup. He blowed up good, he blowed up reaaaal good. ;-)

How did the CBC get a hold of an AKS-74U?
