And his lollipop-sucking supporters:
Long-time conservative commentator (and former liberal) Bill Whittle is pondering another way, and what he has to say is well worth considering. Glenn Beck is also dreaming large.
Plus more Binks goodness & food heresy! As a food heretic, myself, I concur.

Bill is correct. The only way for America to survive (and I’m talking about the virtuous, free constitution-loving, achieving, self-sufficient, independent America that is productive, works hard and pursues liberty and excellence, not war and welfare) is to organize and ignore the welfare America and redirect its productivity into the private funding of education, enterprise and various support institutions. Great idea but personally I think the bills for the Klepto-welfare state excesses will come due before this is organized and the economy/society will collapse into 2nd or 3rd world mayhem and all that entails – government tyranny, martial law, tribalism, entrenched corruption etc. You cannot build a new nation based in a virtuous idea in the midst of havoc where no virtue exists or is allowed to exist.
Americans who wish to preserve the founding principle and excellence of the American free republic must escape the collapsing empire and take their wealth, culture, virtues and intellectual property with them – find a safe enclave to re-establish a culture of limited constrained government, free markets and civil liberty. From that perspective I think Canada is a natural escape enclave. We should open the doors to an American liberty diaspora. They can help us build the next freest most successful nation on earth.
