#AGW bullshit: “North Pole lake” not a lake, not due to global warming, and not even at the North Pole!

Hey @CBCCommunity, storify this:

The Associated Press issued a formal retraction of a photo it published that claimed to show that a large lake had formed at the North Pole due to global warming.

In its retraction, the AP admitted that not only was the “lake” simply a small melt-pond but that it was natural, not due to global warming. The AP also admitted that the “lake” wasn’t even at the North Pole, explaining that the monitoring station where the photo was taken had drifted hundreds of miles to the south.

Previously from our taxpayer-funded media:

Original story not updated yet and title remains: North pole turned into lake from global warming

UPDATE – August 12, 2013: Apparently my daily constant Twitter-bitching to the @CBCCommunity has met with success…

And I thank all those who retweeted my rants because that’s the real reason CBC has finally posted a correction. Of course, they still use the term “lake” for what is actually a small, naturally-occurring melt-pond, but it’s better than nothing.

Science and engineering have discovered:

Any credible change to the level of non-condensing greenhouse gases doesn’t have, has never had and will never have significant effect on average global temperature.

GW ended before 2001. http://endofgw.blogspot.com/

AGW never was. http://climatechange90.blogspot.com/2013/05/natural-climate-change-has-been.html

Average global temperature is extremely sensitive to low altitude cloud area change http://lowaltitudeclouds.blogspot.com/

What the IPCC won’t tell you http://consensusmistakes.blogspot.com/
