‘Mike Duffy’s identity hijacked’ — #twitterfail?

After reading the article, I have to say the headline and even the introduction are a little misleading:
OTTAWA — Conservative Sen. Mike Duffy has had his identity hijacked by someone on Twitter.
Tweeting under the name “senatorduffy,” frequent posts include remarks such as “reading is for losers,” “Happy Rememberence Day!! (sic)” and “craving onion rings.”
