McGuinty blinks — Ontario’s Liberals drop the eco-fee tax grab

by Natasha on Monday, July 19, 2010, 11:28 pm · 11 comments

Ontario’s eco-fee was simply a stealth tax grab as I said. So McGuinty’s sleazy government has cowered under pressure and is scrapping this bit of thieving. Read: Ontario to drop eco fee: report The Ontario government will scrap its controversial eco fee on Tuesday in a bid to quell consumer confusion and frustration from major [...]

The IPCC climate change junk science fraudsters up to old tricks

by Natasha on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, 6:56 am · 2 comments

From Brian Lilley: Science behind climate change under fire – again The scientific accuracy of the United Nations’ climate change reports are coming under fire again. In a scandal that dates back to January and was dubbed Amazongate at the time, it has been confirmed that claims of the Amazon burning up due to climate [...]

Climate science journalism: ‘Stick to the mainstream’

by Tasha on Thursday, March 11, 2010, 12:01 pm · 1 comment

After watching two parts of TVO’s four-part series on climate change, I confirm that I can’t watch any more of their crap. Actually I watched slightly less than half of last night’s nonsense discussing the media’s reporting of climate change. It was essentially a one-sided ManBearPig extravaganza that promoted ACC (Anthropogenic Climate Change, formerly known [...]

AGW’s new ManBearPig: Acidification of the oceans

by Tasha on Thursday, December 31, 2009, 10:17 am · 6 comments

I’m “cereal” — beware AGW’s ‘evil twin’ — Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha… James Delingpole lampoons an AGW religious fanatic in his post: The scariest article you will read this year. We all know how hard it is to say “sorry” when we’ve got something seriously wrong. Much easier, instead, to come up with a formula which says that [...]

The three decades of Climategate

by Tasha on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, 12:17 pm · 4 comments

Thirty years in the making… From JoNova: You have to see this to believe it. Look up close and admire the detail while you despair at how long science has been going off the rails. To better appreciate the past and what was exposed by the CRU emails, the Timeline chart consolidates and chronologically organizes [...]

The Church of Settled Science’s newly and aptly named journal

by Tasha on Friday, December 18, 2009, 8:32 am

New Scientist becomes Non Scientist It’s too easy. If you are a CO2-is-the-cause-of-global-warming scientist there is nothing you can do that is outside the bounds of normal science. New Scientist will defend you. — JoNova And from WUWT, read about the connection between the corrupt scientists and the corrupt science magazine. Here’s one of the [...]

Communism in Copenhagen: Tyranny’s thugs attack Lord Monckton

by Tasha on Friday, December 18, 2009, 7:53 am · 2 comments

Read: Is the European police state going global? A few weeks ago, at a major conference in New York, I spoke about this tendency towards tyranny with Dr. Vaclav Klaus, the distinguished economist and doughty fighter for freedom and democracy who is President of the Czech Republic. While we still have one or two statesmen [...]

Determined to ‘stop climate change’

by Tasha on Sunday, December 13, 2009, 7:37 am · 3 comments

That was a phrase I caught last night as I half listened to the news. Don’t ask me what channel; it doesn’t matter, since the lamestream media all sound the same as they parrot each other. Seriously, though, this news report was all about the Copenhagen protests to bring attention to the efforts to “stop [...]

The Climate Research Unit scandal (aka Climategate)

by Natasha on Friday, November 20, 2009, 8:25 pm · 5 comments

My summation of the entire mess is that you’ve got a bunch of AGW scientists intent on clinging to their jobs, with heavy focus on fundraising to do just that. Add to that the derision for fellow scientists who question their findings, not to mention manipulation of data and outright ignoring of FOI requests. Big [...]

Well, reasonable people already knew this, but it’s nice to have it finally confirmed in the hucksters’ own words. It seems this is the REAL inconvenient truth that Almer Goretry didn’t want the public to know. And in case you’re thinking it’s probably a hoax, it seems there is confirmation from Phil Jones of the [...]

Earth Hour: Solidarity for the Sheeple

by Natasha on Friday, March 27, 2009, 4:53 pm

March 28, 2009 at 8:30 pm. This is the hour everyone is supposed to conform to the new-wave eco-hysterical practice of shutting off your lights for one hour. Now the Earth Hour nuts say nothing on their site about turning off any other electrical or gas-powered items, so I guess it’s full steam ahead for [...]
